Letter From the President
The annual meeting of the South Carolina Association of Neurological Neurological Surgeons is scheduled for Saturday November 15, 2008 at the Mills House in Charleston, South Carolina. Please reserve your room at the the Mills House as soon as possible.
Our special guest is Dr. Douglas Kondziolka, who will speak on stereotactic radiosurgery. We will have a panel discussion and case presentations on both intracranial and spinal radiosurgery. We invite you to present any interesting cases for our panel. If you do plan to present a case, please let me know by Monday, November 3rd.
Our goal is to have an interactive meeting. There also will be a panel discussion of complex spine cases. In addition, there will be an endoscopic pituitary surgery presentation by otolaryngology and neurosurgery.
A reception followed by a dinner is scheduled at the Mills House on Friday, November 14, 2008 beginning at 6:30 p.m.. Spouses are welcome at the reception and dinner. We will need an RSVP for the dinner no later than Monday, November 3rd.
Registration response cards are enclosed, but you can also register on line at our website www.scneurosurery.org. A tentative agenda is available on our website. Also, only SCANs menbers (i.e, those who have paid their dues) will be listed on the web site. If you have not paid your dues please include the $100 dues with your respones cards or send directly to my office or to Dr.Mina.
